Abstract submission


Deadline for submission: June 30th, 2017

The organizing committee welcomes the submission of abstracts to the 9th mGlu International Meeting. All abstracts, should be submitted no later than June 30th, 2017.


Abstracts will be selected for either an oral or poster presentation by the Organization Committee. First authors will be notified of the form of their presentation by email no later than August 1st , 2017.


The abstract should not exceed one page.
The abstract (ready for direct reproduction) should be printed or typewritten single spaced on white A4 paper (297 x 210 mm).
The inferior margin should be 4 cm and the others 2,5 cm.
The title should be centered and in 12 point bold letters
The font should be 12-point Times New Roman, no more, no less.
The use of Times or Times New Roman is strongly recommended.
The name(s) of the author(s) should be written as follows: first the name initial and then the first surname, with the name of the presenting author underlined.
Then the author's affiliation and full address should be given.
The text of the abstract should follow. References to literature work within the text should be placed in square brackets [1, ..] and cited at the bottom of the abstract.
All figures should be of good quality and located within the text at the appropriate position(s).
Abstracts can only be submitted by e-mail in MS Word file.
Abstracts received in PDF or other format are unacceptable.


Oral Communications
Oral Communications will be scheduled for about 25 minutes (including discussion).
Meeting room facilities will include projection capability for PowerPoint presentations

Instructions for Posters
Poster Session
Date: Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017
Time: from 8.30 p.m.
Location: The poster area is the Alcantara Room at the Hotel Capotaormina
Poster size: The area (portrait) on poster boards is 95cm wide and 118cm high.
Poster Numbers: Posters will be numbered and listed in the programme.
You will find at the top of your poster space, a label indicating your Poster Number.
Poster Material: Material for mounting posters (Scotch paper tape) will be available at the poster area.

Posters can be positioned from 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm and must be removed immediately after the end of the Poster Session.
After that the Organizing Secretariat has no responsibility for your poster.
